The Hulk is one of the most well known flagship characters of the Marvel comic universe. In addition to Incredible Hulk trivia which is associated with the comic book itself, the character has also been a popular television and film character over the fifty years and more since his first appearance. The Hulk is a huge, green (usually) monster like character who is possessed of incredible strength. In truth, the Hulk is the alter ego of Dr. Bruce Banner, who is bombarded with Gamma radiation, giving him the ability to turn into the Hulk when he is made angry.

An Incredible Hulk quiz will show that the character, in addition to starring in his own series in the early sixties, also became one of the founding members of the Avengers super hero team along with Iron Man, Thor, Ant Man, and The Wasp. However, he was only a member of the Avengers for a few issues of the comic. The unpredictable anger of The Hulk had, by the third issue, turned him into an enemy to be subdued by the Avengers rather than an ally.

The Incredible Hulk trivia that some people might be interested in is actually that surrounding the television of the late seventies and early eighties which has risen to a very popular cult status. The series starred Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno. Bixby played Dr. David Banner, but when he got angry and turned into the Hulk, Ferrigno would portray the Green Monster.

An Incredible Hulk quiz refers to the two movies which have been made in the last ten years featuring the character. The interesting thing is that the two movies featured completely different casts, and the second film largely disregarded the first film all together. The first film featured Eric Bana as Banner, while the second starred Ed Norton.

Currently, the Hulk has reached a resurgence in popularity in the comics world. There have been several long and popular storylines featuring the staple characters of Hulk’s circle. Storylines such as World War Hulk and the mystery of the Red Hulk have proven very interesting to readers.

The Hulk, like most characters in the Marvel Universe, has a steady cast of supporting characters that surround him. His nemesis, General Thunderbolt Ross, is always trying to capture and subdue the Hulk. In contrast, Ross’s daughter, Betty, has been Bruce Banner’s love interest throughout most of the history of the character.

Masters of Trivia is a website dedicated to trivia games and quizzes that cover several different areas of interest. The various trivia questions available on the site can be easily accessed and played by going to http://www.mastersoftrivia.com.

The incredible hulk is one of the more popular superheros. This article describes Bruce Banner and the incredible hulk and discusses the incredible hulk costume!

The Hulk is a superhero who originally appeared in Marvel Comics and has been featured in several television programs and movies, including the film “The Incredible Hulk.” The Incredible Hulk is based on the story of Dr. Bruce Banner who has been exposed to large levels of gamma radiation. In the original version of the story, the transformation of Banner into Hulk occurred at dusk and he reverts back to Banner at dawn. However, in later stories, the emotion of anger in Banner triggered the transformation.

The physical strength of the Hulk is almost limitless and has been portrayed as being resistant to most types of injury. He has been shown to survive forces that could divide a planet, nuclear explosions, and temperatures as high as the sun’s core. He is able to heal his wounds in a matter of seconds and can grow tissues at will, such as those that permit him to breathe underwater. His legs are so powerful that he could jump to attain lower Earth orbit and he could even leap across continents.

Hulk costumes are available in a wide range of styles for all ages. You can even create your own Hulk costume as the costume is rather simple. All that is needed is something that shows your large muscles and that you have green skin. Since the Hulk is naked from the waist up, the only piece of clothing that you may require is a pair of pants that are ragged in appearance. Of course, to depict those strong muscles above the waist, some may choose to wear a green long-sleeved shirt that is padded.

There are also complete Hulk costumes available at many stores. One example is the Infant Hulk Costume that is made up of a green shirt with prints showing a muscular body, a hood depicting the usual hair of the Hulk, and his characteristic pants with jagged edges. There is also the Incredible Hulk Costume for Kids or adults, which is made up of a jumpsuit with padding for the chest and legs.

Whichever costume you choose this Halloween be sure that you don’t leave out the emphasis of the muscles. The incredible hulk is known for having large muscles and green skin. Without the muscles people could mistake you as someone else.

Thor is a huge fan of Marvel comics and one of his favorites is The Incredible Hulk. He has created a page dedicated to Incredible Hulk Costumes which even includes infant hulk costumes which are completely adorable.

The Incredible Hulk is still popular four decades after he debuted, and he will probably be popular well into the future. Don't let the prospect of putting on an Incredible Hulk themed birthday party hold you back, just use these party ideas.

One of the most popular superheroes of the past 40 years is the Incredible Hulk. This green monster-sized superhero has super strength, is nearly invulnerable and not someone you want to make angry. Recently, a new Hulk movie was released to much fan fare, and is sure to be a hit. If you have kids who have seen it, then you are sure to get an Incredible Hulk birthday party request that you will have to satisfy for them. Thankfully, with these party ideas, you can accomplish this task.

Hulk Potion
The Incredible Hulk was turned into the Hulk with a mixture of an injection and gamma rays. Well, you can’t expose the kids to gamma rays, but you can give them a secret drink formula that will cause them to turn into the Hulk. Just use some Kool-Aid, add some lemon juice for a bit of a kick, and you can have the kids drink it. Then, get them to do their best Hulk impression and see how well these great kids can do.

Hulk Lifting Contest
Using foam items that can be cut to look like rocks, weights, even small cars, you can have the kids lift up the items in an effort to see who is the strongest of the Hulks. This works great after you have had them drink the ‘potion’ and the kids will have fun lifting fake items and pretending they are actually really heavy. This also make a great picture opportunity for you.

See the Hulk
After the kids are finished pretending to be Hulk, why not have them watch the real Hulk in action by showing them either the show from the 70s, or one of the two Hulk movies from the past decade? They will have a lot of fun seeing their hero in action, and they can even act out some of the scenes with the foam items and secret Hulk formula drink you gave them. This is also a great opportunity for you to have the kids sit down and relax while you are getting everything ready for the meal or presents.

The Incredible Hulk is still popular four decades after he debuted, and he will probably be popular well into the future. Don’t let the prospect of putting on an Incredible Hulk themed birthday party hold you back, just use these party ideas.

The past few years have been fantastic if you're a Marvel fan. With the success of Iron-Man, Incredible Hulk, and the Spider-Man trilogy, fans just can't seem to get enough of Marvel's comic-book superheroes. With Iron-Man 2 set for release next summer along with other popular characters soon to hit the silver screen, How successful has the straight-to-DVD market been this year for Marvel?

Upon hearing through word of mouth that a new Marvel animated feature was headed to stores on DVD in January, I became ecstatic. After having seen the promotional trailer online, I felt that this DVD would indeed be something special and I was right. Having purchased the DVD immediately the very day it was released, I decided that it had to be watched in the right setting and environment. Looking at the DVD features and specifications on the reverse side of the package, I was delighted to see that the audio had an option for 5.1 digital.

The DVD itself consisted of 2 features. The first being Hulk vs. Wolverine at a running time of 37 minutes and the second feature being Hulk vs. Thor at 47 minutes.

I slipped the disc in, sat back and awaited the carnage!

The first feature tells the story of Logan(Wolverine) who is sent by the Canadian military to stop the Hulk who is tearing up the Canadian countryside in a fit of rage. Wolverine’s orders are to stop the Hulk before the Hulk endangers more lives during his path of destruction.

Wolverine ultimately catches up with Bruce Banner(Hulk’s alter ego) and assaults him while looking for answers on the whereabouts of the Hulk. This causes Banner’s transformation and soon all hell breaks loose as both Wolverine and Hulk engage in a brutally violent and bloody battle that truly pushes the boundaries of the PG 13 rating.

After a good dose of blood and flying limbs in the wilderness, the violence spreads over into the Weapon X facility where even more bloodshed ensues as Sabretooth, Omega Red, Lady Deathstrike, and Deadpool get in on the action. Overall it appears as if the Hulk is more of a back story in this flick as most of the emphasis is placed on Wolverine’s enmity with Weapon X but there is more than enough action and violence to satisfy any Hulk or Wolverine fan.

Some of the additional features on the Hulk vs. Wolverine disc include a commentary track by Craig Kyle, Chris Yost, Frank Paur, Kevin Altieri and Butch Lukic which you’ll find quite interesting.

Disc 2 features Hulk vs. Thor the God of Thunder! This feature begins with Thor’s father Odin, the ruler and protector of Asgard, going to sleep during the winter for 7 days which leaves Asgard unprotected from enemies. It is up to Thor and the Asgardian army to defend Asgard. Loki, the stepbrother of Thor, sees his chance to finally destroy Thor by enlisting the services of the Hulk whom Loki has possessed (with help from Amora the Enchantress) in order to do the evil Loki’s bidding.

This leads to chaos as the Hulk, after being split from his alter ego Bruce Banner, goes on a violent rampage and ultimately even Loki loses all control. This story is sure to satisfy Hulk fans although Thor the God of Thunder is not quite up to the task seemingly as he does not defend himself as well as he might in the comic books. Apparently Thor is more vulnerable this time around which may not sit well with Thor fanatics. Regardless the feature is entertaining enough and can still be enjoyed for its action and often candid humour(Deadpool steals the show in the Hulk Vs. Wolverine feature).

Another excellent commentary track accompanies the Hulk vs. Thor feature as we get some insight from Craig Kyle, Chris Yost, Frank Paur, Sam Liu and James Peters.

With some fantastic voice-acting, excellent animation, booming 5.1 surround sound, plenty of special features, great story-telling, and tons of action, Hulk Vs. creates a viewing experience sure to please any comic-book fan!

The Incredible Hulk can be seen as the ultimate superhero to a lot of kids, and lots of adults too. The Hulk, A.K.A. Dr. Robert Bruce Banner is a fictional character who first got his start in Marvel Comics Universe. He has his very own comic book and is one of marvel comics most well recognized characters. Who wouldn’t recognize the Hulk, with his giant muscled torso and green skin? In the Hulk series Dr. Banner became the hulk after he was caught in the explosion of a gamma device of his own making. Rather than killing him it changed his DNA, so whenever he becomes angry he changes into the Hulk.

As the Incredible Hulk, Dr. Banner has superhuman strength, and invulnerability, but he can also heal himself incredibly quickly, he can communicate with astral bodies, he is basically immune to gamma radiation, and he has a strong resistance to mind control. Interestingly when the Hulk was first created he was gray in color and transformed into the Hulk each day at sunset. Dr. Banner is pursued by General Thaddeus Ross early on in the comic book series. The General’s daughter, Betty, is in love with Dr. Banner and tries futily to stop her Father’s search for the doctor.

The Hulk was cancelled after just six issues, but on receiving a letter from several college students stating that they had chosen the Hulk as their official mascot the creators realized that the Hulk appealed to an unexplored demographic and they brought the Hulk to life in several running guest appearances in other comic books. Eventually the Hulk got his own comic book again which was given the fitting title, The Incredible Hulk.

To this day the Incredible Hulk has continued on with lots of fresh new story ideas. The latest hulk comic planned for release is to be called, World War Hulk.

Sometimes grey, sometimes green, the Hulk debuted in 1962, but soon faced cancellation. The character did not enjoy a successful solo run until the 1970s.

“How do I know I won’t keep changing?” an anguished Dr. Bruce Banner asked himself in one issue of the Incredible Hulk comics. “Into that brutal, bestial mockery of a human – that creature which fears nothing – which soon despises reason and worships power! Soon, the sun will set again~ And here I sit helplessly, fearing I may again become the Hulk!”Poor Dr. Banner’s anguish began when he was performing bomb tests. Seeing teenager Rick Jones driving towards the test site, Banner rushed to stop him and in the process was affected by gamma rays. While Rick Jones was unaffected, Banner began to transform into the Hulk.

Originally, Banner’s transformations were triggered by the rise and fall of the sun. Later, his transformation would be triggered by emotions, most notably anger.

Sometimes grey, sometimes green, the Hulk debuted in 1962, but soon faced cancellation. The character did not enjoy a successful solo run until the 1970s. During his solo series, Banner gave his cousin, Jennifer Walters, a transfusion, leading her to become the She-Hulk. This in turn added even more guilt to the Hulk’s already burdened conscience.

In the 1980s and 1990s, a major arc was introduced that explored the possibility that Dr. Banner had been mentally ill before getting hit with the gamma rays. In an effort to explain his Hulk persona (the one who offered such fun phrases as “Puny humans! Hulk smash!”) writers introduced the theory that Banner had been abused as a child. As a result, Banner had suffered from Dissociative Identity Disorder, his mind’s way to try to deal with the abuse. The gamma rays merely magnified those problems.

During this time, Banner underwent hypnosis as a way to combine the Hulk parts of his personality with the calmer Banner part. The result was a Hulk that was more cunning, powerful, and intelligent than before.

In the 2006 story, “Planet Hulk,” the Illuminati, a group of covert superhero leaders, decided that the Hulk was a potential risk to Earth that needed to be eliminated. Thus, they sent him into space to live on a planet uninhabited by other sentient life. The ship malfunctioned, however, and landed on the planet Sakaar.

Sakaar was a violent planet, which seemed to fit Hulk’s personality. After being captured, Hulk became a leader of the rebels and eventually rose to emperor status. But his happiness was short lived, as his rocket exploded, killing his pregnant lover, Caiera and destroying the planet.

A vengeful Hulk returned to Earth, determined to make the Illuminati pay for what they had done. Tragically, however, Hulk found out that it was one of his own allies that destroyed his ship and he was taken into custody by S.H.I.E.L.D.

An article about the comic book The Incredible Hulk.

In this article we’re going to cover the history of one of the most changing comic books and characters ever – The Incredible Hulk. The Incredible Hulk was another Marvel creation from the genius mind of Stan Lee. The character debuted in 1962 and thus began a strange evolution of a character that was probably the most tormented in comic book history. The Incredible Hulk was Dr. Bruce Banner. He was a scientist experimenting with gamma rays. Well, one of this experiments went haywire and Banner was exposed to the gamma rays himself. He was close to death and miraculously survived, but not without paying a huge price. It seems that whenever Banner became angry he would transform into this hideous green creature who became known as The Hulk.

Unlike most other super heroes, The Hulk was not good. He wasn’t entirely bad either. He would come to the aid of the underdog and saved many an innocent person in his day. But he had very little affection for law and order. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that they were trying to kill him all the time. The Hulk consequently inflicted as much harm on the upholders of justice as he would do to the criminals. He was an odd bird all right.

Oddly, the first comic with the green Hulk lasted only 6 issues when the appearance of the Grey Hulk hit the stands. In this incarnation Banner would transform into the Grey Hulk at night and then back to himself when dawn came. The reason for this was because Banner could not live with what he had become. So he transformed into his darker side at night to let out his ugly side, since Banner was afraid of the dark. This was done without him knowing it. In later issues however, it was done consciously.

In 1964, two years after the first appearance of The Hulk, there was an issue of Tales To Astonish featuring Giant Man where he ended up meeting and fighting The Hulk. In the next issue of that book it would split into two sections. The first section would feature Giant Man and the second section would feature the Hulk. Finally in issue number 70, The Sub-Mariner took over Giant-Man’s place in the book.

It wasn’t until 1968 that The Hulk took over the whole book. It was at this time that Tales To Astonish was dropped and the new title for the book was The Incredible Hulk. This is the reason why you never find issues 7 through 101 of the Incredible Hulk, the only comic book hero to suffer this comic numbering fate.

The Hulk basically ran this way until 1998 when a book came out called “The Rampaging Hulk” which tells of the early history of The Hulk before anybody knew Bruce Banner was The Hulk. It lasted six issues.

Finally, in 1999 The Incredible Hulk ended its run with issue number 474. But it didn’t stay dead. After the new comic titled simply “The Hulk” hit the stands, 12 issues in, the word Incredible was added back to the title. The Incredible Hulk had returned.

The Hulk was such a popular character it saw its way into cartoons and a feature movie, which unfortunately was not true to the comic and quite awful according to critics.

We’ve seen the headlines: Hulk vs Superman, Hulk vs Wolverine, Hulk vs the Thing, and, basically, Hulk vs other superheroes. Classics that piqued our imagination. Who’s the strongest? Who’s the best fighter? Who’ll win?Time and time again the Hulk has proven that he’s more than a match to most, if not all, super heroes. But how does he fair against gods? Lucky for us, there are two gods in the Marvel comic book universe, one from Olympus and one from Asgard, who walk among mortals and they’ve scuffled with the Hulk on a few occasions.

Let’s take a look at some of these match-ups between Marvel powerhouses:

HULK vs THOR

Thor, the Norse god of war and thunder, is a popular immortal in the Marvel universe. Banished to Earth to learn humility by his father, Odin, King of Asgard, Thor is entrapped in the body of a frail human, Donald Blake, who depends on a cane to walk around. The full power of Thor is only unleashed when Donald Blake taps his cane ceremoniously to summon the thunder god.

Thor’s match ups with the Hulk are exciting. Fans are even hoping for a big screen brawl between the two. Some of the popular issues include the following:

* AVENGERS #3. Hulk and Thor first fought in Avengers No 3 when Thor and the Avengers tried to contain the rampaging Hulk. Joining the fray is the Sub-Mariner who aligned himself with the Hulk and fought the Earth’s Mightiest Superhero. During one of the battles, the Hulk and Sub-Mariner doubled team Thor and wrestled him down. The Hulk transformed back into Banner and got away before his identity as the Hulk was revealed. The rest of the Avengers showed up to gang up against Sub-Mariner who retreated away to fight another day.

* THOR #385. One of the more fun fights between Hulk and Thor. In THOR No 385, Hulk challenged Thor to fight without the hammer Mjollnir. Thor accepted reluctantly after Hulk took on a hostage. He casted off his hammer and began fighting the Hulk. In the beginning, Thor thought about running away until the Hulk’s rage subsides and transforms back to Banner so no one would get hurt.

But pride got the best of him and he continued to fight the Hulk in turn destroying buildings, wreaking havoc in the streets, and risking lives including a bus full of school children. Thor showed the invincibility of a god as he refused to go down after receiving a few beat downs from the Hulk. The Hulk even slammed him with a train. In the end, Hulk realized that it was futile to continue fighting as his anger began to subside and he leaped away. Thor was left alone by himself but lusted for more.

* HULK 2001 ANNUAL. In order to avoid hurting innocents, Thor transported himself and the Hulk into another dimension to fight. In their first brawl upon arrival, Thor was thrown into a mountain by the Hulk and the rocks collapsed and buried him. The Hulk proceeded to leap away to find out about the new world.

But at the same time, he managed to wreak havoc among its savage native inhabitants. Deciding that bringing the Hulk to the new world was a mistake, Thor found the Hulk and knocked him out with a lightning bolt. Traveling in between dimensions, the Hulk managed to transform back to Bruce Banner. But before Thor could drop him off in a secured military installation, Banner transformed back to Hulk who proceeded to wail on Thor. The Hulk walked away not knowing if Thor was still alive.

A few more releases tell the tales of clashes between these two power giants. It’s important to note that Stan Lee himself meant for the brute strength of the Hulk to be matched, if at all, not by humans, but by gods. But is there a limit to the Hulk’s strength? Remember, he gets stronger as he gets angrier.
